Something new for me, something new for you!

***This Giveaway is now CLOSED!***

Mr.Pate and I spent the weekend playing "rearrange the living room" because...we finally took the plunge and bought a new couch (pictures coming)! Yay! We had been shopping around for a long time trying to decide what to buy. I spent alot of time online looking around for Living Room Furniture, trying to learn what a good price would be etc. In the end, we finally decided on a leather sectional that we got a fabulous price on! So, something new for me!

But now that we have it home and have completely rearranged our living room, I am realizing that I am going to need a few new pieces of home decor to make the room complete. So it is back to shopping online for me!

But I titled this post something new for me AND something new for you. That's because the fabulous folks at CSN Stores are graciously giving you a new piece of home decor! Yep, it's my first giveaway here at Patelife, and I am super excited for one of you to get these cute removable chalkboard wall decals from AllModern.com:

They are removable, so even those of you in apartments or dorms can enjoy them. There are four panels, which are cuttable, so really the possibilities are endless! I personally would love to use them in the kitchen, writing my meal plans for the week. I also like the picture above of it being used in an office. Those of you with kids, you could put one or two on their level and let them 'play school'.

  1. Hmm... there are so many good ways to use these but I would say in the kitchen. It would be nice to have them nearby to write menu plans, grocery lists, recipes, etc.

  12. Chalk it up! I would definitely use one at my desk in the kitchen....command central. Then I would put one up outside the door of each of my kids bedrooms, so I could leave them messages each morning before I leave for work (Since I leave at 5 am before they get up) and they could leave me messages before they go to bed (since they stay up much later that I do)

  13. I didn't have any purpose in mind until I got to the part in your post where you said you'd like to use them in the kitchen for meal plans, and I think that's a fabulous idea, that i'd LOVE to do! Maybe one out in the open to doodle on, then more on the inside of cabinet doors (so I can keep up with my meal plans, but guests don't have to look at my messy handwriting!). Thanks for the giveaway!

  14. I agree with earlier comments that these would be awesome for the kitchen for recipes and notes. I also have a one year old that will be "drawing" soon, she would love.

  16. Now for the fun part... dreaming about what I would do with it if I won... I could see using it in my craft room or my husband's home office... but honestly I have an even better idea... I know a family with 10 children and they homeschool... I think this would be perfect for them... so if I win... they will be getting it :-)

Thanks so much for this great opportunity!
