It must be in the water...

I seriously know 20+ people who are either:

a. pregnant
or
b. new parents

Every time I log into Facebook another person pops up preggers. Its like there is something in the water in America. Yep America... because so far all of these people I know are in the States... do any of my dear friends living in another country need to tell me something?? Anyhow, I am super excited for all of these people and it really is a benefit to me to have so many people to learn from, but I have to ask...

Am I the only one who feels like everyone is having a baby or has a baby??

  1. you are definitely not the only one who thinks this! it does seem like EVERYONE is having or had a baby - and i'm part of the problem!

it makes me stop and think about all of the couples out there who have difficulty in this area. just from the few months we went through it, i can tell you it is hard to see everyone around you pregnant when that is what you so desperately want! i take time every single day to thank the Lord for this awesome gift he has given me and to pray for those who have trouble!

"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord." I Samuel 1:27-28

  2. yept girl--everyone but you and me! (and if you go and get one i don't know what i'm gonna do!) ;) It is weird to be in this stage of life and to not be actively pursuing parenthood...i feel like something is wrong with me! oh well...all in God's timing right?

  3. If I am pregnant, we have problems. And I'm definitely not actively pursuing parenthood... :)

But in the course of a week (from Monday to Monday) I found out 3 people in my circle were pregnant. Exciting, yes... but insane all the same.
