This year, I got Thursday and Friday off for the 4th, awesome! So we headed to Louisville right after church Wednesday night. Thursday it rained all.day.long. Ick! We still had fun just playing with Grandma and Papaw and Uncle Ed. The boys even decided to get in the pool in the afternoon. It was cold but they had a ball. We stayed up late and watched fireworks from all over the neighborhood. Griffin loved them! I was glad he wasn't afraid of the loudness. I tried to get him to chant "USA" and he would say "US Yay" instead. So adorable.
Friday we decided to get up and go to the Louisville Zoo regardless of the weather. It was a good choice because it felt wonderful and only drizzled on us once or twice. It was nice zoo weather actually. Then we headed home for nap time (griffin and I both napped!). When we woke up Uncle Shelly was home! We just ate and played.
Saturday we headed over to Aunt Lisa's for our annual Fourth of July celebration. Griffin loved playing with all the cousins.
