Pa-sticks Vacay 2019: Day 1 Part 2

We spent most of day 1 on the beach or at the pool, and it was wonderful. The boys did great.

Most of the group played jackpot for a little while, and it was fun to watch :-)

Then we headed back out to the beach mid afternoon. It felt so great, and it was really low key and not crowded.

They convinced Griffin to try the wave surfing too, and though he was super hesitant, in his words “that was awesome!” I will say, Justin is so much better at pushing our boys to face their fears and have fun than I am. I am thankful for that!

Then everyone spent quite a bit of time searching for shells.

Griffin accidentally caught a fish during this shell hunting time! Ha!

Justin and Jason cooked us some delicious steak and shrimp tonight, then we headed to do some crab hunting! First off, it was so not as busy as it usually is. Of course with it being Fall, it got dark a lot earlier than the summer, and since we cooked at the condo and didn’t go out I am thinking we beat a lot of people to it maybe. We caught and saw tons of the little crabs!

So we noticed little tracks for the first time ever, and Michelle followed some and found a HUGE crab (compared to what we are used to seeing). So fun! There was lots of very loud yelling, jumping, scaring each other, and having a blast out there.

Not sure if you can tell, but that last one is of two crabs fighting in the bucket. Ha!

We ended the night with a good round of Telestrations and some snow cones! It was a fun filled but laid back first day.
