Christmas 2014: Elf and Angel Week 3 & 4

(I am catching up on some overdue blogging, so just a heads up!)

Elf and Angel continued to visit us each morning until Christmas. Mommy forgot to take a picture of two days, but I am gonna say that's pretty good stats. Ha!

I forgot to take a picture of them invading our gingerbread house and sitting with Santa's milk and cookies.

Until next year Elf and Angel, we bid you farewell!

Oh and apparently our Elf's name is Hot Cocoa. 😊

Christmas 2014: The Polar Express

So I just realized I never blogged about our Polar Express night! Oops.

We got to take part in the Polar Express night our local Train Depot puts on (they are part of our library program) again this year. It really is a great event, and it's free!!

The kids where their pj's and get hot cocoa and cookies while they wait.

They get their own ticket and get it punched just like the book/movie.

The Thomayers went the same time as us again :-) Griffin and Easton are now in the same class!

Uncle D went with us again!

Griffin and daddy were being silly!

The calm side of the table...

We get to board a real train, and walk all the way to the back dining car. It's pretty neat to see in the old train. They have someone read the Polar Express Tonya while we sit on the train.

Then at the end, Santa surprises the kids as we leave the train and gives them a bell! This years Santa looked great!

And I know these next pics might be distorted on a computer, but I had to include them. I can't believe how much he changed this year! So grown up looking now! Slow down baby boy!

Congrats Uncle Shelly!

Last weekend we traveled to Richmond to watch Sheldon graduate from EKU. I cannot believe it happened so quick! He graduated with a degree in aviation, and we could not be any more proud of him!

Grady Meets Nanny

Today my dad was able to bring his mother up to meet Grady and visit with Griffin. She is the boys only living great-grandparent and Griffin just adores her. So glad she got to come up and meet Grady. We had a great time chatting all day while Grady slept on my dad, haha.

This pose with his arm up was cracking me up. Just pondering life...

I had to wake this one up from his nap so we could go to the doctor... And he is not easy to wake up. Ha. He literally slept like this when I put him down on the couch!
