{Summer Adventures} VBS

This week my boys attended Oakland Baptist’s VBS and had a ball! 

Griffin has gone to this VBS for the last three years, but this was Grady’s first year. They both loved their teachers and classes. And seeing them singing the theme song and doing the motions tonight while we were out at dinner made me grin. How precious?!

Today ended up being a day of fun treats with my boys, and it has been so lovely! We started with Griffin doing my workout video with me, haha! 

Then me and the boys headed to see the new Aladdin movie, which was soooo cute! 

We stopped at the library and left with a huge stack of books, ha! Griffin decided he wanted some penguin books, so we ended up with 4. He will hopefully be a penguin expert by Friday, hehe. 

Then Griffin and I headed to Chaney’s Dairy Barn for “Dairy Potter 2019”, a fundraiser for Hope Harbor. It was such a nice weather night, and the event was not nearly as busy as I expected. Griffin got to paint a wand, learn some spells, do the sorting hat (sorted him into Slytherin which he was none to happy about! Ha), get his face painted, do flying lessons (which just meant jumping on the jumping pillow) and ride the Hogwarts Express (the library’s little train). We even got a Butterbeer Float! Griffin has earned a mommy-griffin date, and this was the perfect night. 

Sure loved spending time with my boys today!
