37 Weeks and Counting...

So it's been several weeks since I have updated about pregnancy #2. So here is a brief synopsis of where we are at...

Weeks: 37

Total Weight gained: 25lbs

Preggo Symptoms: Last week I had swelling in my ankles that hurt to touch! I never swelled with Griffin so I didn't know how awful it feels! Luckily my blood pressure is great (100/66) and no protein in my urine, so no signs of preeclampsia. Just regular ol swelling. And it has gone down tremendously this week. Lots of pelvic pain. Blah. Can barely breathe and constantly sound like I am out of breath. Yay.

Doctor said I was measuring 37 weeks last week and 40 this week! So my belly really grew. It's pretty huge at this point.

We are just trucking along and hoping these 3 weeks hurry on by.

Griffin is often saying things like "when Grady gets out of your belly you can run with me momma" and "when Grady gets here you can do such and such". I think we are all ready to meet him and be done with this pregnancy! Ha!

Life according to my iPhone...

I keep meaning to write actual posts with actual thoughts and feelings... But with a ever-growing belly and never-growing energy level, I am just keeping my head above water right now! Ha! So here are some things we have been up to...

Building a treehouse with Momma Susan while Mommy and Daddy went on an actual date...


Peeps and Livvi came up for a visit...





Griffin has gotten great at playing on his own quietly during bible study... And yes he may be a little ocd with his toys...


Me and Griffin went down to a wedding in Gallatin that was gorgeous and we got to see the fam...



Baby Eden also made her debut and Redeemer Church had our first Sunday service, but I think those may deserve their own posts!

Happy Birthday Kadyn!

Yesterday we headed to Jackson's Orchard to celebrate Kadyn turning 3! Jackson's Orchard is a local place people love to visit in the Fall, and they have quite a bit to do. With her party, we got to play on the playground (complete with the cider slide, hay maze, and rolling tire things), go on a hayride to the corn maze where Kadyn and Griffin serenaded everyone with a loud rendition of Let it Go, jump in the bounce house, and make sand art. It was a lot! Griffin had a ball, and we were all worn out by the end.

Fall Fun: North Warren Fall Festival

Friday night was North Warren's Annual Fall Festival. Griffin and I were able to attend again, but unfortunately Mr.Pate had to work a Servpro event elsewhere. We definitely missed him, since he is the fun one after all :-)

A great thing about this year was that Eli & Ellie (and Morgan and Eric) were there! So the boys were thrilled to get to play together. We did get off to a rocky start, as Griffin went up to a pretty tall inflatable slide and proceeded to get scared and cry. Some older boy grabbed him and brought him down for me. So we were a bit skiddish for awhile... Oh three year olds!

But Uncle D got done at his game and he and Britt came and played with us, so things looked up. The boys were being silly before we knew it!
