March So Far

We started a family challenge at church to encourage our kids and parents to have family bible time during the week. For one of the activities, Daddy had us all put on lipstick and kiss the paper... Griffin thought that was hilarious!

A daddy hack...

Grady has really gotten into us reading to him.

And he is into Elmo, so we pulled out some Elmo pj's :-)

Griffin and I had a date night and went to the movies!

Picture day :-)

And Papaw nailed it with some awesome Easter treats!

And the Cast Is Off!

Well when this all happened, I thought four weeks was gonna feel like forever!! But actually, it really went quick. Once Grady learned to walk on it, it went pretty smooth.

But, we were still all excited to get it off!

He did great and started walking on it that day. The doctor said it healed great. Woo hoo!

The rest of February

We were doing an activity where I would tell Griffin the attribute of God, and he would act it out for daddy to guess... I was trying for "steadfast" but for some reason Griffin just started acting out "dramatic". Grady decided to join and they both rolled around, it was hilarious!!

Griffin and Bro shared a tree hug during a chuys lunch. Ha!

I think my boys look so alike.

We tried out Jump Air Zone with Lilli one Saturday. It took Griffin some time to warm up to it, but then we had fun. He loved the foam pit!

What a little man?! And yes, our obsession with balls is holding strong.

Our cute Wednesday night nursery crew.

We are back to walking into daycare... So precious.

My little fox.

Griffin and I have been playing Jenga, and reading Chronicles of Narnia :-) I am hoping he will love Narnia as much as me!!

End of Jan/Beginning of Feb Summary

Catch up time! Here are some End of January, beginning of February photos:

This dude moved up to a booster seat... Cue mommy tears!

We had a random warm day in between the snow!

I have been enjoying some scripture coloring :-)

We got a cast cover on Amazon so this little man could still bathe. It worked great.

We went for a follow up and got a new cast for Grady.

Big bro picked bright green this time.

Uncle Shelly came for a visit, and even Cartney was glad! Haha!

Mr.Pate and I celebrated 10 years of marriage. 10 years... Wow! We celebrated by shipping the kids off to Gallatin and going to eat at Novo Dolce... Look how pretty my food was! Felt like a foodie ;-)

Griffin got to enjoy riding a razor for the first time!

Sweet sweet Griffin moments

My sweet boy is growing up, fast. And while I am seeing more attitude, and way more crazy-adventure-seeking-boy characteristics, my sweet Griffin still remains. He is hilarious and sweet and I adore his personality.

A few things he has said recently that I don't want to forget:

"Hey girlie" -while giving me a hug. So precious.

"I am going to have two girls and two boys when I grow up." And I just know he will be the best dad!

"It was amazing, but a bit terrifying!" Haha! Talking about riding a razor with Uncle Ashley and Livvi.
