Happy 4th!

We had a great 4th of July! We decided to try and get in some good time at Beech Bend finally, so we went there Friday and Saturday. We did the amusement park rides Friday then headed home and had a movie night! Griffin has been asking to have one, so we were finally able to deliver. We watched the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which was a little much for him probably. He liked it but woke up this morning telling me he was afraid of the dark and tunnels. Oops.

This morning we headed back to Beech Bend to do the water park. First we had to ride the swings again, which is Griffins new favorite. After that they headed to the log ride to get wet! Griffin loved it.


In the water park we did the lazy river, played in the wave pool, and Griffin even went down several of the kids slides too! Wish I had a pic of that! After the water park we headed home for nap. Then we went back to ride some rides again. We grabbed some dinner and then went to the Hot Rods Game! They did a big fireworks show after too!
