A Little Early Easter Fun

Yesterday, Mr.Pate's Mom, Dad and Great Uncle Ed came down for a visit (and Uncle D came over too). We had a great laid back day. Usually when we see them we have some kind of event or holiday to celebrate. So it often feels rushed, but we didn't have anything to do yesterday except enjoy the amazing weather!!

Both Papaw and Grandma brought Griffin Easter baskets filled with toys and candy (just what he needs 😉). When Griffin woke up from his nap we let him open all of it. He was hilarious playing with stuff. He repeatedly grab handfuls of the grass from his basket and took them to Papaw. Why Papaw needed the grass is a mystery? But it sure was funny! He also got a little carrot stick golf set, and later on in the night we caught him walking around using it as a cane, just like Uncle Eddy! Haha! It was awesome.

We spent lots of time playing in the backyard too. Griffin is pretty bossy these days and would insist that a certain person push him, or swing with him. Loved it.
